Victoria Ames, Esq | Managing Partner

Victoria Ames has dedicated her career to assisting others. Her combined history as a lawyer and a non-profit executive of an international charity blend to offer her clients the best of her personal and professional experience.

Prior to establishing the ARTEMiS Law Firm and À Law Carte Legal Services, Victoria was in private practice with Jaburg|Wilk, P.C. where she practiced in the areas of commercial litigation and employment law. She also represented clients in healthcare matters both before the state and federal courts as well as in administrative proceedings before the medical board, nursing board, and physical therapy board.

Before practicing law, Victoria Ames served as Chief Executive Officer of Make-A-Wish Foundation International. There, she guided the organization’s international expansion efforts in over 30 countries and oversaw operations of the international headquarters in the USA ensuring that all eligible children with life-threatening illnesses around the world had an opportunity to fulfill their life-long wish.

For nearly 25 years, Victoria has advocated for the rights of those with special needs and believes strongly that those with physical, developmental, and mental health challenges should have the legal support and community resources to deal with these disabilities. Her dedication to improving the lives of families faced with special needs is deeply rooted in her own experience as a parent of children with special needs.

Victoria Ames is a former board member to David’s Hope, Arizona’s Mental Health and Criminal Justice Coalition, an organization organized to promote and secure treatment for those with mental health disorders and addictions through increasing collaboration between our mental health and criminal justice system. She also serves on the American Bar Association Advisory Panel, is a member of the Special Olympics Advocacy Resource (SOAR) Program Committee, and volunteers with the Maricopa County Volunteer Lawyers Program.

In addition to private practice, Victoria Ames directs the Arizona State University | Sandra Day O’Connor College of Legal Services Program, which provides free legal services to those unable to otherwise obtain legal assistance in various practice areas, teaching law students how to put their legal education to work in real-life situations. As part of her work with the College of Law, Victoria also supervises students in pro bono projects providing free legal consultations through the Medical-Legal Partnership and the Elder Law, Special Needs, and Mental Health Legal Assistance Program.

Pamela Judd | Attorney

Pamela is a seasoned litigator with more than 12 year of legal experience handling a diverse litigation caseload, including representing clients with respect to commercial litigation, bankruptcy, securities, product liability, and family law matters.

In addition to working at ARTEMiS, Pamela is a founding member of À Law Carte where she provides hourly legal advice.

Pamela received her Bachelors of Science summa cum laude from ASU and graduated cum laude from ASU College of Law, where she served on Law Journal.

She is a seasoned litigator, having worked in large firm and small firm settings. She has defended and prosecuted clients’ claims for breach of contract, breach of guaranty, breach of warranty, fraud, violation of duty, and securities fraud. Her diverse experience is valuable in representing clients in what can often be unpredictable litigation.She was an Associate at Lewis and Roca for seven years in the firm’s tort practice group, specifically focusing on but not limited to pharmaceutical and medical device defense matters.  Her practice also included personal injury and construction defect cases.

Pamela then joined Roshka DeWulf & Patten as an Associate and was later named a Partner.  There, her practice focused on commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and securities cases.  Beginning in 2018, Pamela began handling civil litigation and family law matters for the ARTEMiS Law Firm.

Michelle G. Breit | Attorney

Michelle is a highly experienced intellectual property and commercial litigator, representing clients in complex patent, copyright and trademark infringement actions, trade secret misappropriation disputes, and other aspects of intellectual property protection and enforcement. 

Michelle also has extensive experience representing and advising clients in business disputes, including breach of contract, partnership and corporate dissolution, product liability, unfair competition and employment disputes, among others.

From the start of her career in Silicon Valley to the present, Michelle has represented companies and individuals in a diverse variety of technologies, ranging from semiconductor devices and their methods of operation, computer and wireless telecommunications systems, radio frequency satellite and cellular communications systems,  and various other mechanical and chemical based arts matters, including fire protection methods and devices, surgical devices, marine diesel engines and consumer automobile accessories.

In addition to her litigation practice, Michelle counsels companies and individuals in intellectual property protection and enforcement, negotiates and prepares intellectual property licensing and sale agreements and supervises due diligence strategies and analyses efforts for mergers and acquisitions.

The Arizona Business Magazine recognizes Michelle as a Top Lawyer in Intellectual Property Law.
